Don called this morning. Said everything looks good and will have definate answer in the morning. And be ready to start orientation Monday morning in New Albany. Ready to hit the road. One more ? Are yall required to chain up or is it at the drivers discretion. Way I look at it, when its time for chains you aint got no buisness out there. I kno you have to have them out west. Just woundering what the companies outlook on it is. Thx

well I was supposed to be home yesterday from my time off since I'm flying to a Aruba Saturday night/ Sunday morning. I wanted to give myself 2 extra days in case I was on the night schedule a running some really hard miles and I got screwed. I have to drive all night to make it to Atlanta tomorrow morning. this leaves little time for preparation, being Friday in Atlanta. after all this I don't think I'm going to go out 2 months straight again with this company. I'm going to rotate every 3 weeks. the miles of been consistent in the 2000 to 2500 mile range. eems like I'm only getting 1 week every month that's 3500 miles. I'm still making money, but I'd rather make 3500 miles. and I've been a little bit sick already took my throat is really sore. if I was home on yesterday like I was supposed to be I can rest up. if I end up sick for my trip somebody's going to feel my fire for the lack of planning. again I give myself a 2 day but for window to get home the rest up before my trip and they screwed it up.

 

I talked to Don today, and was told that they aren't hiring out of Georgia right now. He seemed like a really nice guy and was apologetic about it. He encouraged me to check back with him from time to time because they might get more freight going throu GA and FL to justify hiring down there again.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.
