Best Coax???

Given I have some RG8X in the garage, that's what I'd use for CB. Honestly, over that short of a distance, the difference is negligible.

At 27 mhz RG-8X is fine ....

Come on now I use Andrews LDF 7/8 Heliax w/ 1/4 superflex jumpers.....

 

I use the gray stuff.......it is superior to the black stuff.......and the clear stuff........

 

As long as it's from a reputable manufacturer, the color of the jacket doesn't make any difference.

 

My wife is an RN, and says that the oft-held belief of a difference in quality (or size) based upon color alone is a myth. F'r instance, black coax isn't necessarily any bigger than white coax. She says my gray coax is just fine. And that the clear coax that ghosts have is just pointless, cuz it's invisible.

I'm not sure she was getting the point, but I'm going with it.
