avoid CR England! all costs! go anywhere else!

    hey all, been at 1 of cr englands schools for 10 days now. so many problems the list is longer than my arm. bottom line, they dont care if u pass or fail, they give u THREE DAYS to learn to drive the truck, they dont help u at all. i could spend an hour typing out all the problems but im just gonna keep it short and (BITTER)sweet for right now...

    STAY AWAY FROM CR ENGLAND. INSTRUCTORS DONT CARE. ADMINISTRATORS DONT CARE. YOU BARELY GET ANY TIME TRAINING. IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE THEY YELL AT U AND THREATEN TO SEND U HOME.

    U SPEND ALL DAY EVERY DAY FROM 6 AM TO 5 PM THERE. if youre lucky you get an hour of training IN THE TRUCK. they put all the emphasis on pretrip and 4pt braking and tug test but they dont TEACH U TO DRIVE SAFELY.

    STAY away! go to Swift! ask to speak to Mayra! so much more helpful!

    England schools don't teach you how to drive, they teach you how to pass the CDL tests. You learn to drive in Phase 1, and learn the business in Phase 2.

    I'm not condoning the way they do things, just telling it like it is.

    Getting through the CRE school and phase 1/2 of training is the easy part. It's what happens afterwards.

    I went there. That is how they teach you. I was one of the lucky ones that survived. If you are going to a bottom-feeder to learn how to drive a truck, find someone better than them. They churn through so many new drivers a week, just by sheer odds they'll find a few that last.
