Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

Dear Mark.... I have a 700..... Can my unit be updated with a computer that is "runnning" Linux? And somewhere your maps need to be updated.... Highway 58, between Highway 97 and Interstate 5 in Oregon is legal for Big Trucks. Travel this road many times both ways.... 700 says not legal road for trucks.

 

Why is it that when I'm at a truck stop and the interstate is just across from me, my 510 will route me 5 miles out of the way or more, just to get back in the highway? Why is that. I ignore it and do my own thing, but still? Can't it see the ramp or what?

 

RMA? If regarding sending it back to get repaired- undecided at this point.

Thanks Mr. Mark! I have more issues and comments... will try writing them down when they happen. Otherwise I am extremly happy with my Big Screen TND 710.... am learning more about it all the time.

What gives? I sent in the form I printed off the online site. I printed the closest thing to cash register receipt that RMN had. I sent a copy to your private mail. Its a poor copy but you the gist of what I sent. I also registered it through the dock. What else can I do?
