This is way too funny as I am currently hauling one of these junky machines to Bedford, PA out of Fredricton, New Brunswick. LOL I got me a good load out of PA already and this one was just a bonus gig.

 

Yeah, Bedford is actually the JLG refurbish facility. The ones coming OUT of Bedford are basically brand new.

Im sitting at home till Sunday when I have to shoot up to Portage, WI for an unload. Then back to Chicago to load some more railroad fuel tanks for Altoona...... Depending on the weather and storm coming into the NE next week. I might be finding something south as they are calling for about a foot of snow in the Quaker State.

 

I was thinking of doing OTR for a flatbed company. Get some OTR experience and clear my mind for a bit. Any OTR company that will throw me in truck after a week learning their Policies and paperwork ?


Hate the thought of bunkering up with another driver @ $50 per day for 3 weeks. Probably answering my own questions when i talk to a few local people, Want some outside sources. Pittsburgh homeland.

Blind sided by the local mill shutdown, Figure this was the chance to go out do some OTR or become a bum on un employment. Get paid OTR see some land and not be lazy. either source of income still sucks , hate job hopping and still #### unsure wtf is happening. saving the local job sources for a much better time. not broke but dang well frustrated.

Maybe after a few weeks enjoy otr since i've really never done it. confusing post and i know, not sure what the heck i want. looking for instant options.

filing for unemployment is too easy and want to work.

 

Loading Monday in SC headed for the Great Northwest. Haven't been out there for over a year.

 

Sitting at trailer shop watching them weld on my flip axle, asked the Air Force to flip my axle and instead they might have ripped the flanges off. Oh well, should have watched them closer, guess the bill will remind me. Monday San Jose to southern cal

Sitting at the Maytown, NY TA, no need to hurry to PA and still will get a 34 hr in so I can get the heck outta dodge!
