For me I started pushing a lawn mower after school and during the summers for cash.
Was a dish washer at an upscale restaraunt for a while. I left that after a few months and joined with a company called Braidco where I made rope at a rope factory (a real sweat shop, 100 plus temps in an old warehouse with no a/c and only huge fans to circulate the air. This job only lasted 1 summer and I had enough!
Upgraded to flipping burgers at McDonalds where I also had to help unload the supply trucks (my first contact with trucking and I picked the drivers brain every chance I got as far as pay and benefits). Spent 4 years at McDonalds and left a year after being promoted to Swing Manager (made a whopping $6.35 per hour when I left).
Thanks to the converstaions with the Martin Brower delivery driver I decided to go to truck driving school in November 1991. I spent 7800.00 for tuition through a school called North East Career Schools based out of Manchester NH. It was an 8 week course but it was worth it! 16 years of driving and averaging around 70 grand a year now a days with great benefits! -

While I can't speak for the entire forum, I'm surely not at all offended.
And may I say, she looks nice, but I'd love for her to be naughty.

Right before i got into driving, i was going to college for elementary education. I started driving for my father as a summer job after my freshman year at ysu, and haven't quit since!

No offence taken. I, like the scarecrow prefer naughty.
I became a Paramedic right out of high school for 6 years. Got really smart and became a Police Officer for 17 years. Got run over by a car. Took a partial medical retirement. Played Music professionally and semi-pro off and on during my life. Also do a part-time gunsmithing job. Hoping to start my Driving school by May of 08.
