DO NOT hire on with H&R Transport unless you want to become part of the problem of working for sub standard wages, and helping to drive freight rates down. This company has a seriously b ad reputation for that. They will lock you into a 3 year contract for sponsorship and they will basically own you. They will treat you like crap and pay you far less then the average rate. DO NOT sign on there, its not worth it.

I've never heard anything good about Hit and Run Transport, myself, from anyone.
The few times I've talked to Hutch Thomas (head recruiter muckety-muck at the Calgary terminal for what seemed like forever, although IDK if he's still there, that was a while ago now), I always left that office feeling like I had a thin film of oil on me :/
I remember the last time, when I was in there getting the sales-pitch --HT reminds me of an old-school carnival barker-- a driver came in carrying a power-inverter. Driver smacked it down on Hutch's desk and said "You can have this piece of #### back. I'm sick of this outfit's lies." and storm out.
Oh, mustn't forget the H&R long-hauler who tried to blind-side into Bridge Brand Food Service's freezer-side docks (that awful, odious ####### cave) and backed right into my daycab's fender when I was newb.
Yeah, seems like a real classy place, doesn't it. -
Last week while in Ab I saw 2 HnR trucks pullin cattle wagons! Never thought I'd see the day.....

H&R is just another typical greedy bottom feeder. They will take any freight they can find just to keep a truck rolling, and if there is no profit, they just ensure you wont get your safety bonus...
-
They are nothing short of awful to deal with.

Repositioning empty trailers, come on.

Repositioning from Sask? That's gotta be it.....
