and i need to rehang my mudflap in the middle of nowhere with no tools.

 

Plenty of snow in Montana along I-90. It snowed on me from the continental divide past Bozeman on Tuesday. I experienced something new around Bozeman. Snow storm with lightning never seen that before. I had to complain about 90's in L.A. last week now I see 20's and 30's in North Dakota and Minnesota.

 

Not unusual in west to have lightning in the winter storms as the air is cold and unsettled. I have seen lightning every season, but it is neat when it is snowing at the same time. Stay safe and warm!

 

Wet is better than frozen and wet. And you have 2 people to do the work. I was running flats in the Northeast, and you get some rain and ice on those suckers they weigh a ton. And they will not fold frozen, so you are stuck rolling them into massive rolls and strapping to the deck just to get them secure. I will take wet any day over that. The only positive is that we only used steel tarps, no lumber tarps. So while it took 3 to cover a full load, they were normally small enough not to be too big a burden.

 

It is called Thunder Snow. We get it allot around the Lakes. On the day I got married we had sun, rain, sleet and thunder snow.
I probibly should have taken that as a warning and walked away.

I guess that is what we get to look forward to, a tarp frozen in the shape of an engine. GREAT!

 

my tarps don't stink when wet. but they sucked today all frozen and iced together.

i've got 6 of them great big arse white bags of powder.
