Out of all of the discussions and arguing on the subject it has yet to be proven that the roads are SAFER or DRIVERS are anymore COMPLIANT. So this "patch" they are trying to force upon the industry as a means of stopping the so called "outlaw" company's and drivers is not going to help the industry achieve that goal. Instead of enforcing something that will not work they need to come up with some new way to control the people. I think they should just take the CDL of ANY driver caught running illegal and fine any company that is caught pushing drivers $100,000. This way both Drivers and Company's would learn real fast the HOS is nothing to play with.
