Not really incongruous. I expected much worse. Until I got forced to be a Phase 1 trainer, I was making good money, had some very good students who I consider friends, and had some very enjoyable times on the road. My only complaint back then was not getting home as much as I would like. Once I started training P1, it went downhill.

I am dropping a load this morning in my home state, then going home long enough for a restart. I will also be emptying out my truck so when I get pre-hired with one of the companies I applied to, I will drop off my truck and go my merry way. The student I have on my truck now will be my last.

i cant tell you how sorry i feel for all the people that were arriving, as of course they bring in new people every sunday/monday.

as said, ill be going with swift.

 

Kind of like seeing the "2 days without an accident" sign being put up monday in a warehouse that is closed weekends

 

You get that everywhere. That's what happened to me back in the day, at swift

 

me to the guy sat with me for 2 hours and said you got it figered out im going to bed 8 hours later he came and said next time you need to stop we will switch
