ya me too. trick is to just get ur foot in the door with the best company u can, get ur experience and work ur way up from there

I believe Swift/Roehl don't have a school. You can however start with them after you got your schooling done else where. Indeed your first year is going to be brutal, lonely and you will for sure miss A LOT of your social life being on the road. Only a few can handle the road life and be sure you are ready to tough it out. Also DON'T believe the hype about making up to 40k for your first year. It could happen but be ready for it not too.
Most likely if you don't have the funds up front you will have to go with that 1yr contract with a company that will pay the schooling for you.
Good luck to you both on whoever you go with. -
swift and roehl both have schools
-
Roehl has a school that any company would honor.
Marky84 Thanks this. -
it indeed seems that roehl has a very good school

I can tell you to avoid swift unless you want to be an endentured servant for two years. CREngland sucks terribly as does Stevens. Milan is an ok company but not sure about the school or details. I've been trucking 15 yrs and got my start with Willis Shaw. They suck too as all the training companies do.

AH, okay thought and heard Roehl closed their school, guess not. I do know Swift doesn't have any schooling due to the slack training they did when they were teaching, many, many years ago.
