What's the just on off duty driving? Am I still limited by my 14 hour clock? HHome now and went into sleeper cause it looked as if it was running out if time in off duty.

It's there so elogs knows not to count it against 11/14/70 hour clocks. You're off duty, using the tractor for your personal business. So no, it doesn't count against your on duty time. Safety looks at it in the most restrictive view, that you can't be hooked to a trailer. Can't use it going to pick up a trailer after home time, for example.

You do have to be careful... after an extended period, the system may switch you into normal off duty status. I usually will jump into sleeper berth status, and then select off duty driving just to make sure I don't get onto line 3 on duty driving.

    ledzeppelin Thanks this.
