Unloaded the boom lift in Lafayette, IN at 0700. Still waiting on next load assignment nearly 4.5 hours later. FM sent message to all his drivers saying it is a rough Monday for freight.

Found a disturbing flat spot on a steer tire this morning. They will try to route me
    through a terminal.

So after pulling teeth with my fm about bob tailing to the shipper the finally let me. P+g didn't have a empty and I sat there for a while waiting on one. My load isn't ready so I left for a p-lot a mile or two from the shipper. With the wind and rain when I got here I said I'd get the load when conditions calm down. I don't think they were happy with that but I don't think they understand where I'm at. Even if I leave probably won't find a spot to park anywhere near this area or towns around it. People are filing in to wait this sucker out. Good thing it wasn't ready so I didn't do a stupid move and try to leave. Roehl will have to deal with it and I'm sure the shipper and con will understand. O-well it's going to be interesting as the evening approaches. Then ill be fl bound. Not going to put my truck and soon to be light load trl on its side for this bish named sandy

Stuck outside of a shipper east of Cleveland. 2nd shift is here but everyone else went home and shipping is closed. Told my dispatcher I hoped I didn't get murdered. He suggested setting a full bottle of water outside my truck step since that's what everyone is probably going to be looking for anyway. Funny guy. Made me laugh.

Woke up and called in at a little after 7. Told FM where I was and get me my permit. 4 1/2 hrs later I get permit to roll 10 miles. Now I get to sit until Tuesday for a load. Did everyone who worked this weekend get screwed on Monday? In Gary, and the local guys sat almost ALL day. Total waste! Next two checks are really going to suck!

Finally got a load assignment around noon - pick up a loaded relay in Gary and take it to Winchester, KY. Arrived Gary 1345 and submitted a maintenance request on the steer tire. Still waiting to get in the shop. Now supposed to relay this load to Indianapolis and trade with another driver who has some aluminum coils going to LaCrosse.
