Enough of this 'my buddy' stuff, as several have already pointed out YOU do not belong behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle!!! If you didn't learn from the first occurrence, you aren't going to learn period!! You've just managed to 'stay lucky' since the second. I've been around alcoholics enough to know, once a drunk, always a drunk. Find another career before you kill somebody.

00c6051rBgJ.jpg This is what a reckless driver did to me a few years back on the MA Pike. Pieces of my car were scattered over 2oo feet. It was such a bad wreck that the state cop who rolled up on the wreck first declared me DOA. If you can't drive a car using common sense dont drive a rig. I dont need this again.

IMHO, "standards" for being a professional driver are going down quickly at a time when the requirements should be more stringent.

Believe I'd go to the next applicant to help alleviate this "driver shortage".

o dont worry your pretty little head over declining standards, we have CSA2010 to make sure we weed out all the bad apples and 4million qualified steering-wheel holders, driving 62mph, automatic transmission, with all the "following to close", rollover preventive, lane change monitoring equipment money can buy.

soon to come, cameras facing the driver and the road, also sleep monitoring equipment to make sure our drivers are getting the 10hr sleep as mandated by law

further, we will prohibit them from smoking and eating unhealthy

at ATA, we are raising the standards of our sheeple

You're right. I feel better now.

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll experiment with some do-it-yourself dentistry....:biggrin_2559:

All told, it sounds like this guy has a habit of making horrid decisions. What the Hell is this guy doing keeping that slag anywhere within 10km of him, by the way? Sounds like not only making poor decisions, but not learning from them, either.

Change careers, this guy has no business in an HGV.

(It's reckless, by the way --wreckless driving would be a good thing, I should think, yes?)
