been sitting since yesterday here bordentown nj winds picking up pretty good now,will not move till this mess is over deliver staten island when i can get in

 

Be careful. I'm sitting at my house right in the middle of Queens and it's starting to get bad. I made all of my guys take the next few days off because it's going to be a cluster around here. Stay safe and good luck.

 

I'm up in Concord NH sitting on a load going to PA ( yeah right ) it's bad but not as horrible as it is going to be to the south and west of here. I'm gonna look at everything in the morning but I do not have high hopes for any drivable weather till at least Wednesday. They said they are going to try to get a generator for this truck stop. We still have power as of right now.
All of you guys in coastal Mass, CT, NY and NJ be safe and careful, especially tonight because its gonna get really bad.

 

CT banned all big trucks from limited access highways after 11am today, cars other than emergency vehicles after 1pm. Was riding around about 3: lotta wind, sticks and branches on side roads. Drizzly rain. Roads were pretty much deserted. Don't really have anywhere to go that'll be open so I'm chilling at the house.

 

The worst of Sandy is coming up through central PA into NY State tomorrow. I live in north central PA up near the NY State line. It's been windy and raining all day, but the wind is really beginning to pick up now. Weather channel says 60 mph gusts. We still have power, but would really be surprised if it lasts all night.
