Sitting in North East, MD. with 60 mph gusts and Flying J locked up. Had to get this Milatary truck into here for National Guard.
All roads around shut down. The key bridge just south of here was restricted to trucks over 64K min. when I crossed it around 4pm. And winds on the bridge were over 60mph. Very spooky to cross using all 3 lanes.

Did they at least close that stupid scale on 95? I hate that place.

UPDATE: It's worse than anyone thought, Northern NJ and NYC are completely shut down, none of us are going anywhere. There are transformers blowing left & right, and everything is FLOODED. YOU CANNOT GET INTO NYC OR OUT. Bridges, including the Tappan Zee are shut down. There is water in the tunnels as well. If you'rer thinking of coming east out of Ohio, make different plans. If already in the area, stay the hell off the roads. This stprm is no joke. Im not far from the Lehigh Valley and can't leave. STAY SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently at the Petro in Bordentown, NJ - power went out, transformers blowing up, wind shaking my cab. Good thing the 45,000lb load of kitty litter is holding me down :)

I'm parked in my bobtail at the Buffalo, NY Volvo service center and the gusts are rocking me back and forth. I can't imagine being closer in. I'm sort of glad my DPF decided to cause problems!

They are even calling for 40+ mph winds here in east TN tomorrow.

I just saw on the news 5 dead so far in NYC. Also the whole front brick wall fell off a 3-4 story row house. It looked like a dollhouse missing the front with all the exposed rooms.

You'd think they would give the drivers shelter.
