That is also the reason most repair shops wont let you in the shop. You don't want your customer to see you practicing I mean working on their equipment.
Also when I worked on farm and heavy equipment our motto was the older the equipment the bigger the hammer. When I went to work on cranes and did mostly electrical trouble shooting I wanted to use the hammer a lot of times to fix it.
Nice loads.

It would depend on how the job was bid in my book, if they want it shipped at a legal-load rate I'm going to pull off whatever I need to to get the load down to legal size. If they're willing to pay OD rates, then I'll leave every bit on it...
And most people want their trucks shipped at a legal-load rate, so, pieces may come off. Typically that would mean the mirrors and possibly exhaust. -
So because of the storm I've been sitting at this truck stop outside of Ohio.
My question is, can we drive oversize loads while its raining in Ohio? Or not. I can't find anything in the provisions about driving in bad weather.

Yes the last 3 weeks up till this week it has been raining every time i went through ohio.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

#6 under general limitations on your provisions sheet
A SHP is void at any time road, weather or traffic conditions make travel unsafe, as determined by the State highway patrol or local law enforcment.
So as long as its safe and you are not told to stop then keep trucking. Hope this helps you out.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
It does. The FAX messed up my provisions. I can read them but not clearly enough to see that one. I'm getting a new copy in the morning before I hit the road. I'm just gonna go into it and see how bad it is. At least I keep food in my truck now
