LCCDL IS a private owned company,I agree, and I also understand that the owner has a brother who works at the state level,as a member of the Board of Education, Through my own Internet research I have seen where other company's interested in offering CDL Training could'nt provide equipment that would pass DOT Inspections,Now as far as my experience with LCCDL, I got my CDL, I am thankful for that no whininig here, just constructive criticism,I Learned more on YouTube, and this site also, pertaining to maneuvers such as offset, and paralell,I did however learn from the Instructor that going triple digit speeds could cost a (pretty penny)OOS Violations were frowned upon, and Dr Bells, could if taken, keep ya truckin for days,Thats what I learned, and we had 2 recruiters visit,Maverick and Werner,But Hey I had a good time and look back at the 4 weeks I spent at LCCDL and smile,Dale is a class act!! and feel fortunate to have met him.

usramc, yes i am on the Somerset campus (the range/road now) I test next Friday nov, 9th. I am nervous as all get out. Parallel is tough and I I seem to have trouble taking off w/o rolling back on an incline
but otherwise it's been great.
-
Yeah, im wanting to go there but if my gi bill takes months like everyone else's then ill be off terminal and drawing unemployment by then, if thats the case i believe the state will pay for the one in london. We'll see though. Im ready to get on the road! -
I start the class in somerset on monday. Finally got my va approval letter

usramc,
Thats great man! Do you know who your instructor will be yet? I had Dale and he was a real cool dude. The only downfall I have w/ LCCDL is we trained on a 13spd but only used 8 gears.. we never used the 1/2 gears so we never got above 8th. I have orientation w/ Boyd Bros. on the 21st of this month in Cinci and they operate straight 10spds from my understanding. So not having any experience with a 10 I'm not sure how ththat is going to pan out. Hopefully I will nail it w/ no problem. At any rate, congrats to you nonetheless and good luck.. you'll do fine I'm sure. -
Thanks, no idea who the instructor is, i got my letter Thursday and called the lady, she said be there monday morning to start.
-
