its 1750 watts and it has to power off when your battery hits 11.8 volts of charge left. It has to say it will do that in the owners manual of the inverter or they won't install it. Most of the ones I have researched shut off around 10.5 Volts. Anyone know of an inverter that meets this requirement? I saw one made by Xantrex and HF series that you can set to shut off at 11.8 but it was the only one I found.

No advice coming from this Newb to a Vet but I would look forward to some comparisons between Millis and your other companies. I am guessing you will like it here. Good equipment and good miles! No BS! Good Luck!

I looked at the cobra 1575 but it doesn't shut off until 10 volts. This doesn't meet the current requirements of a min of 11.8 shutdown. I don't know when you got yours or if they really aren't looking at this but we were told in class it had to meet the 11.8 or they wouldn't install it.

Well not much going on in trenton so i went home for the weekend. I also put a small dent in my passenger side bottom step. I messaged safety and sent them a picture of it on my phone. havent heard anything since. But at least i was honest about it and took full responsibility. oh well back at it monday.

Does it depend on where you are hired or school at on where your home terminal is?? I have a choice of Ohio or Georgia school.. Just wondering if it makes a difference on miles and hometime..

School choice not important. Only home town.

I'm curious if they will ding you with a preventable for that. I know a guy who busted a trailer light (easily replaceable) on a telephone pole turning the truck around at his home and they dinged him with a preventable. Kinda cured me of reporting anything if it's easily replaceable/repairable myself on that one.

When I hit a deer two months ago someone also told me they might try and hit me with a preventable on that one. I chalked it up to a trucker story since I never heard another word about it. I couldn't find the deer but I took pics of the hair sticking out of the bumper just in case!
