Contacts just ain't my bag. Couldn't get used to poking my eye out each morning trying to put them in and when I was climbing towers for a living, my eyes would dry out really easy. Ever try doing eye drops, 400 ft in the air, with the wind blowing??

 

Pan, lex can't poke his eye either. Lol

New damper installed. Counteract beads going in. OPS system still en route. Improvements we have wanted to do but had to fix too many broken things. Knocking on wood this isn't foolish.

We slowed down for two weeks, and saw no real improvement. We had Centramatics on the 386. We needed to do some sort of balancing, and the beads were cheaper than the alternative. We really wanted to see if the damper would help the idle and general drivability of the truck. The theory of bypass filtration is something we have talked about for almost 3 years. Wasn't possible at Central. Considering the miles we run we change the oil and analyze it about every 3 weeks. If it will save us money in the long run, it makes sense. Yes, we have been long-time listeners of Kevin Rutherford, but with my accounting background he makes sense to me. We walked out of his seminar at MATS and apologized to him for that later, but we knew everything he was covering. He understood.

 

Pick up in Orlando FL in the morning and going to Olathe KS and North Kansas City MO and then back to the real trucking no more days days of for a long TIME lol

JJ had the long term contacts for about a year changed them out monthly, but kept getting eye infections so he just went back to his glasses much easier and cheaper in the long run!

 

We might actually cross paths Jess. Picking up in Warsaw, IN tommorrow with 2 drops in the KC area. 1 on each side of the state line.
