Well, you see, if you have the intelligence of the guy who told me that then yes, yes they turn your truck off. Lol

I thought that explained all the lock up skid marks leading over to the shoulder that you see all over the place?
Driver ran out of hours and truck just shut down and locked up the brakes......DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Lol. I believe some of those are most likely due to guys losing air and the trailer locks up, then they go to the shoulder.
Ethan -
That's just crazy, no one loses AIR. What are you thinking? A Pre trip would catch that issue.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I witnessed that happen on tuesday, was following a truck and his trailer brakes locked was funny.
-
Lol. I was going through Nashville, a guy comes on the radio and says he's losing air fast and to watch out, his trailer was about to lock up. He got to the shoulder in time but still smoked his trailer tires. Said the duct tape on his air lines must have come off again..........he was a company driver for a company name that rhymes with..........crst.....

When I was driving for Coke I had to make a sharp turn on an upgrade in a grocery lot. Trailer pinched my airline and BAM stopped just like that. lol Luckily I was going about 5 mph.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I've heard, or maybe I just imagined, that there is a system in place where once you turn the truck off a company could code your truck not to start again.
