Well, a car ran into a truck at the entrance for Truck World, so I had to go down the street to the Flying J. That's where I'll be till 6:30 in the AM.

Got all my yard work/winterizing done this morning. Just finished preparing a big pot of beef stew while watching the Bears kick #####! Pretty darn good Sunday for this guy.

How long do you let your stew simmer?
remember to add just enough onions for flavor.
Now I'm hungry for good stew...
All there is here is subway and chesters chicken...
Ran out of Thai food from earlier this week...

I prepare everything on the stove, then combine it in the crock pot. It needs to be in there at least an hour, but can simmer in there 3+ hours. There are several things I have started using the crock pot for. Chili, Pot Roast, Italian Beef. I think things simmer better than in the stove.

Did you get stuck parking on the steep section of the lot? Hard to stay in bed in a few of them parking spots.

Yes, I have a crock pot in the trk. Well it got pushed back for the rice cooker...
But when I was single I used to put the food in it in the morning and let it cook all day going down the road..
I cooked red beans and rice with ham / pot roasts and even meatloaf in it.
    Was great.

Yep. set both the trk. and trl. brakes.
My poor wife sleeps on the outside edge of the bed.
Guess who I'll be snuggling up to all night..

Hopefully I don't push her out of the bed or I'll be sleeping in the front on the floor or worse on the trl..

I just hope nobody takes out my front end of the trk.
Kinda sticking out a little. Backed all the way up to the curb.
Man in the row in front of me was nice enough to pull up so I could get pulled up and finish my backing in.
Just be glad to get empty in the morning here and hopefully find a ld. out going back east...
