I highly suggest Sprint. I had T-Mobile and never had service. Constant lose connections, or little to no connectivity. All my Netflix movies were so blurry I couldn't enjoy them. I switched to Sprint and I am 99% satisfied. I almost always have service. The only time it doesn't work is when I am in the GM assembly plant wanting to get unloaded, but I think that is all the metal that makes my service weak.
Sprint hasn't done me wrong yet during my 2 year contract, and since I will be resigning I would for sure suggest them.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S II Epic and I love it!

Also, how much are you willing to spend? I have Verizon and I could realistically use my phone as a hotspot, but I'm constantly texting when I'm stopped so that would intermittently cut out my data connection. I have a 4G WiFi Hotspot I use and together with my phone on a 20GB shared everything plan is upwards of $200 a month. Luckily, my expenses are low, so it's not a big deal for me, but for a lot of people I'd imagine it would be.

I used the forum search for this but really got nothing in the first 20 results...if you can point me to a post that discusses this definitely let me know. I've honestly found the forum search pretty unreliable compared to other forums I subscribe to

I'm sold. Netflix and streaming movies is a dealbreaker for me, and I get really annoyed with blurry scenes and stopping to buffer..huge pet peeve. Guess I'll have to divorce AT&T and marry sprint for a couple of years when I hit the road. Thanks for the awesome advice

There us a little broadband card at walmart from virgin mobile. Uses a usb port. Card is $79. Then 5 gig of usage is $20 per month. Uses sprint towers. Service is good in most areas except WY, ID, ND, SD, UT, and MT. Can't watch movies, but can download a few tubes, email, surfing is fine.

I'm an internet hog, not to mention a movie addict as well. I could easily watch a different movie every night before passing out in a sleep...hell, some nights maybe even 2 movies. I also skype quite a bit, which as you know requires fast video streaming.
Has anyone had any trouble with sprint "throttling" (slowing down) your data speed if you go over a certain amount of megabytes in a certain time period? I had a friend with sprint or t-mobile a while back and he was constantly complaining that if he streamed or downloaded too much in a certain time period, they slowed his connection down to the point that he couldnt even watch a youtube clip until they decided to give him his full speed back. -
No throttling here, and I'm over 12gb.
I also changed my prl to 56006 for better roaming (3g).

PRL? 56006? What are you referring to?

Could one of you sprint users go to www.speedtest.com on your laptop? Or if you are on a smartphone, there is a speedtest app. Could one of you guys run that test and post your download speeds? I'm on AT&T, and with 3 bars of connection I get about 2.5 mbps, plenty fast enough for streaming video such as netflix or hulu. I'm curous to see how sprint compares

More like .5 to 1.5 if you're lucky on Sprint. Roaming on Verizon I'll see 2.
