Oh it's not so bad once you see the paychecks for running up there and learn the times of day to be in certain places and times of day NOT to be lol although sometimes, like the one I'm picking up later today, the timeframe on the load just won't allow you to run YOUR plan you have to run the load's plan and schedule which really sucks. Parking is the main issue. There just isn't any after 4-5pm in most places. Or there is but it's pay to park which is probably what's on the plate for tonight. Anytime you find or see a good spot to park up there anywhere that's not a truckstop mark it in your gps. I've got some gems up there I stumbled on just by accident. And have been know to sneak into truck parking at a customer up there that allows it even though I wasn't delivering there. Just roll into the lot and park like I belonged there lol you just have to get creative sometime. But if at all possible, on runs that allow it run the times of day you know will be to your benefit, even if it means waiting a little wh Ike to leave.

The thing that's pissing me off the most is I'm gonna miss my safety bonus, yet again! Had to pull over for the day. Have 16 hours left on my 70...nothing back at midnight tonite....but I do have a consistent 9-10 hours coming back from wed. on. So, they put me on a long run, that's the good news now! But, gonna save hours so I'll have 11 driving hours each day this week. This way I can run! DM couldn't believe I only had 16 left on my 70...but knows I'm good at working my hours out so I can run all week on recaps! Not scared of hills.....just scared of CT DOT for now. ####### ########! lol next time I guess I'll smoke the #### breaks just so they can see me slowing down! And to top it all off, he was a Jamaican DOT. Not to sound racist, but at least I could've been pulled over by an American, Mon!

how they work parking?Sounds like they need to be a little more friendly to all you guys bringing them merchandise up north.

Heck the union thugs ran some of the releif utility workers out for not being card holders! They had traveled 1200 miles to help! Still 1.2 million with out power. Some northerners just can't help but be himiroids!

The workers they ran off were nonunion! Travel from Alabama to help NJ and the union runs you out!?! Let the power stay off. (Help us! Help us! Oh your not union, we don't want your help!)

They need to just go no farther north than WV. Some counties still have 30-50% no power. Nobody will run them out down here.

I use to have a boss that was a TOTAL REDNECK AHOLE and he'd always ask, "Why do all the #### yankees move down to OUR land?".....well the Unions are a big part of that! He was kind of a moron too!
