And here I had figured you had put the truck on "Auto Pilot," and had moved over into the passenger seat to get a better picture. . .
I would say there was a fair amount of GOOD LUCK going around that day. To the driver's company, and to all the other motorists on the roadway. Maybe not such good luck to the driver himself. But maybe he can go flip burgers or something.

Strapping the layers is what i always called a belly strap, some trailers only have a winch track on one side....
-
yea i know thats why i said IF the trailer has winches on both sides....
American Trucker -
If the trailer doesn't have winches on both sides, you can always use straps and binders...
-
How long did you pull flats?
-
oh snap what is gut wrap... yeah that will be a big ticket, i can't see how many straps he has on there but not enough
anyone that wants to haul plastic pipe without gut wrapping it please let me know your route so i stay well clear of that area -

Not defending this driver but I have seen even the best secured loads of pipe shift. You can armchair all you want but shifting does happen with pvc pipe no matter how well it is secured.
formertaxidriver, Logan76 and MackDaddyMark Thank this. -
It wouldn't be TTR if we were not self righteous about everyone but ourselves
-
Especially if we put it all on Youtube, and have our own bunch of little trucker groupies. Real easy to be self-righteous that way. Yeah it sucks to be that driver... maybe we had a learning experience on that one.
MackDaddyMark and losttrucker Thank this.
