Of course, I am partial to my company- Maverick... But there are others that I see often that seem to "have it together." For example: TMC, Boyd Bros, Hogan, Bowling, Valley Transportation to name a few off the top of my head. I run into a Swift guy alot who works the same lanes that I do and he seems happy for the most part too, but did tell me earlier this week it has been 3 weeks since he got home, which he is not used to, and is not the norm for him FWIW. (These are all flatbed co's that I am referring to- or companies that have flatbed divisions)
And I have been seeing several of these WTI trucks around alot lately. Don't know much about them tho.

Well I will tell you to stay away from BTC. No never worked for them but do know how they operate. When I was with Schneider in 98-99 they bought out Builders Transport, very crappy trucks and not very good drivers. Now they came back in with flatbeds. I hear the same stories about them as I did a decade ago. I had a driver of theirs help me tarp a load on the side of the road one day when it started raining (didn't need to tarp the load so don't start lashing out, HAD to as it was pine boards and I was close to weight on the rears and pine soaks up water weight). I wrote their ops manager a very nice letter about that driver but did not get a reply. I know our ops would have thanked the driver writing the email and then gave that driver kudos.
I drive for Boyd Brothers now. WTI is our sister company I guess you could say. Even though we kid them about being White Trash Incorporated they are also a decent company to work for. -
We are not the Builders Transport from SC. We are Builders Transportation out of Memphis,Tn. If anyone has a question about the recent posts please feel free to call us (My screen name).COM

Don't need to. Their ads said the same rate in 2007. Again, I'll repeat it for you.
