This I know, it does not bother me. I am just going to ride out two years and get on with my goal company that is a true southeast regional company, but they require two years of experience.

The empty trailer requesting ######## just sucks. Doesn't work half the time and takes forever.

I think I was there about 16 mos ago, and made a change after a week with very low miles and two 20+ hour breaks. There are a lot of nice paying gigs out there, I found one with only two trips a week to PA (out of Chicago) so only away from home two nights a week and pay close to twice what I was getting at SNI. I didn't want to make the change but you have to do whats right for you

    Hi guys -
have a question for any of those running the Choice boards...
does anyone have any issues with being charged the $500 fee for "repowers" on things that aren't your fault, for example a delay at the shipper or a major delay in traffic, things like that? the recruiter ive spoken to claims that SNI really tries to work with you on these issues so the fee isn't charged, but I'd like to hear it from the drivers
looking for info because i'm ready to sign onto Schneider with the Choice boards, I have the all-clear just need to set an orientation date when I'm ready..
    thnx

There's a couple of things you can do to expedite that.

I send the request immediately after sending my arrival.

Unless, there is NOT a p/u empty in the work flow.

    Then I call....and wait........and wait......and wait............................................................and &^$*# wait some more.

I send it about 15-20 miles before I get to the delivery. If necessary I'll hit a ramp and pull over to send it so it's there when I arrive. Worst case is it comes back with a list and by the time I get there they are all gone. Then I just select Couldn't find and send the number I want.

Tomorrow morning at 0700 I have my first Annual review. Been in Gary since about 1500 today since they didn't want me to get stuck somewhere and not be able to make it back tomorrow morning. Should be fairly simple, just have to clean up the passenger seat in my truck. I've been using it as storage lately because I was too lazy to put stuff away.

Looking forward to getting a new pair of boots. The set I got at Orientation last November are getting worn out. I've already broken one of the seams so they are no longer waterproof. Also would like to get a jacket. I'll finally have something with the Company logo that I didn't have to pay for.:biggrin_25523:

The nice part about the day off is I was able to stop at a Walmart on the way back to the OC and grab a copy of Halo 4.
