Chilling at Oak Creek. Live in Sheboygan in the morning, taking MT here, then off home to MA for the weekend. Was gunning for Friday but Saturday will have to do.

and also every single one of the prysmian loads out of abbeville, where the wooden cable spools are just rolled onto the deck and then have landscaping timbers nailed in as chocks. okonite too.
i'm not about to change anything i do, though, and so far i've never heard a peep about enforcing this boneheaded stuff. i'm hoping somebody official will see the idiocy and the rule changes will quietly go away in some future bureacratic haze. -

yeah, i have the new chain lockers without the lower lip to hang stuff up on. anything i hang in there has to fit in on the same rail as the chains. and i hate the way the ratchet binders unscrew themselves when you hang them up.
i'll be sorry to see the old snap boomers go, as i really like them a lot better than the ratchet type. -
Wow, there are alot of us in Gary tonight.

Sorta like this, although now it looks a little neater with 3 ratchets on each side. But 6 ratchets fit comfortably with all 16 chains.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
In my bungee box there's a gum wrapper and 200 bungees, also my cheater bar.
In my chain box, a lot of rusty chains....well I don't go in there.
In my strap box I keep my straps and a snap binder in there, yes, one snap laying on the bottom. Don't know why, it was there when I got the truck. Looked comfortable.
In my small side toolbox is two steel tarps, a ratchet binder of sorts, a few coil bunks(not sure how many), and some rubber pads.
In my large toolbox there is my two lumber tarps, a steel tarp, a few straps, the rest of my ratchet binders. A few snap binders mixed in, my mudflaps since I've been hauling this step deck, and a broken bungee.
I keep my good chains in my truck.
Although they're piled higher than in this pic. When this pic was taken I had 3 coils on.
