Falcon Transportation any good? in Youngstown ohio.

So what's the scoop on the drivers running day cab's out of the lordstown gm plant?

 

If you go to Canada to get the load you'll be really busy. I do a dedicated run out of the Romulus yard, run up to Toronto and take the load to Arlington...3000 miles garenteed every week. Home time is OK gone 6 days home 2-3 days every week. With Gm doing so well, you won't have to worry about down time or getting paid.

 

I am now at Schneider but looking into Falcon out of Romulus yard I have enhanced but will get fast card, I'm looking to call Falcon Wed Nov 7th see what they have to offer a friend of mine just started with Falcon he's out with trainer should complete his 80 hrs this week.

 

If you get a FAST card you'll get a $1500 bonus......I just got mine

 

How long u been with Falcon and do u like it?

 

My home time is great and I have a 3000 mile dedicated run.....it pays the bills, if I ever breakdown....Falcon respose is quick so far..we have gotten new trailers, but the tractors are older...but the shops do quick repairs, just as long as YOU report them....so I like 'em. They are much better than the company I worked for before...where you didn't get breakdown pay, and you never got paid for all the miles you drove...

 

I agree with ButterBalls and DennisZ I get home a lot and have a dedicated route from Norwalk Oh to Kansas City Ka it's not bad but could pay better though.

 

Made good money with this company. Lots of dedicated runs...heard they got some new trucks and trailers!

Really good time off, that I know of. Definitely say it's worth looking into!

Are the trucks at Falcon lightweight for the van division? I have orientation on the 8/5/13, I am excited about running the dedicated run, at least that's what I was told I would get.
