I used to hang my ratchets in my bungee box like that, but staggered. When they would unwind I found hooking a bungee in the bottom hook and the other side of the bungee toward the top of the box will keep them from unwinding.

roehl isn't very good about soliciting information about truck setup before they order them. makes it awkward to use them when they no longer have enough storage space for the required equipment, for example.

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

Now that I wake up, pre tripped to find my trailer lights don't work.

6:18est, 500 mile run delivers today on central time by 1600. Awaiting a call back from maintenance.

Got to my cons yesterday and after 6 hours they decided they were rejecting the load. It was an indoor basketball court for some guys ranch and there was a bunch of defects. So the 8 pieces they took off went back on then I had to tarp again.

Came to a truck stop at exit 48 I-81 in ny where someone hit my passenger side mirror sometime during the night. Maintenance had me tape it back up and wants me to bring it to a terminal for repairs, after I go back across Canada to shipper in Dollar Bay, MI. At least I can see a little bit out that right side.

Was getting ready to head for the border and got a call to stay where I am because planners might want to throw another load on my truck.

QuiteMike that sucks. I assume those defects were shipped and not occurred during transport right? Curious to know how that load looks. Never hauled a basketball court, tall load?

Yeah it's all problems with the finishing. Scratches, paint splatter, gaps in between pieces of wood, small pieces of steel under the finish. The shipper said most of the those issues could be fixed at the cons, and they even included the tough up paint and other materials to get the defects out, but they were worried about the gaps which were just wide enough to slip a piece of paper through. As for the load, it's actually quite small. There is 80 something pieces on 6 skids. Takes up the front half of the trailer, stands about 6 feet high at it's tallest point. I had no idea it was a basketball court until I got there. Apparently it's supposed to be NBA size and quality.

I like step decks now. Used 3 tarps though.

That is not a good place to keep chains. If you were involved in a accident they could be flying around the cab.
