Certainly not long enough to ridicule. I can't recall ever seeing a Lone Star hauling a load of PVC. As others have stated it's very squirrelly. I didn't care for it but as a company driver I went with the flow.
Have a bit of empathy. I know you would hate to be on the receiving end of your observations.

Crap happens pulling a skateboard, i put a huge tear in a steel tarp the other day hauling a single coil...i even had carpet under the tarp but it didnt matter, i had to retarp it at the service plaza with a big tarp...

That pvc pipe can be a pain. 4" or larger not as bad. I refuse to haul the 1/2", 3/4", 1" stuff NoNo.

You have a load of pvc pipe, 40 ft long, 3 tiers, 7.5 ft tall. How many straps are you required according to the regs?

Yup your right i wouldnt know anything about hauling pipe, LST is only a OIL FIELD based company.....
nope sure dont know nothing bout that pipe stuff....

I only had 1 stack though. It skurred me pretty good, I threw all 14 straps on it.Never had a load do that to me before.

out here in cali they all run with the landing gear half way down, the fuel islands are all tore up from it
