classb, correct. ntts is $9000 plus. About 2/3 are automatic if you qualify for fed loans. You end up needing to figure out about $3000 before school ENDS and you get your CDL. So while you still owe that $6K in loans, you have plenty of time to pay them off with that phat trucker cash. So basically, your heavy truck course required you to come up with about the same amount of money to take your class or this class. Just seems that, if not 3X the value, there must be some extra future benefit to going to an accredited school that is a good deal of money to attend. It's like the Harvard of HD truck schools? Right?

These schools sound bad .
-
Is it worth paying 8,000 for the course cause I'm planning on going there in two weeks and I'm paying for it out of my own pocket. What's your opinion
-
How long is the course, how much drive time and backing practice does each student receive? Those questions you need to ask the schools recruiter.
Slighdogg Thanks this. -
The course is10 weeks 320 hours at 8,000 and 18 weeks 602 hours 9,000
-
7 to 10 weeks for 8,000 18 to 24 weeks for 9,000
-
So are you planning on driving back and forth every day or stay at the school?
-
Stay at the school

Here's where the catch may come in,ask the school if lodging cost extra then let me know.If it does,it won't be cheap and then the cost will be too high and I would suggest going elsewhere. Also you'll probably need money up front for the books which is like $120.00Ask recuriter to be sure..One more thing, get your cdl permit before attending school and that'll be one less thing you have to worry about.I think the recruiter would also recommend it.
-
The books are included the lodging is 1,300 extra and I did get my cdl permit because the recruiter did suggested it and the recruiter said if I take the18 week course that after the 7 to 10 weeks the extra 8 weeks is the business side of the trucking industry
