Well today I get a load out of Eden way ahead of everyone else that got there before me heading (why?) To cincinatti OH. For Monday so I figure ill go pick it up and try to find a spot and sleep in Nitro WV for the night. So I scale ooff of 220 weights good 11800 32400 32400 so I'm pretty balanced and ready to roll. I get up next to Virginia tech on 460 west and a buzzer goes off but no codes on the dash. Noticed oil pressure dropped to 30 and got off on I77 service plaza by this time the pressure is down to 20. Shut her off do a complete inspection find nothing wrong. No fault codes or anything. Todd at millis says to get her to a shop after finishing my load. I am going to drop this load in Trenton. For the local guys tomorrow and try to get my truck worked on first this Monday morning (what time do they open). This load is beer and 6 pallets of the little kegs I'm guessing since it wasn't supposed to deliver until Monday anyways they will be fine sitting there on the yard as I don't think they are temperature sensitive? Just drop it on the yard take my straps out (used 3 load bars 4 straps haha!) Make copies of the bills to put in my envelope and leave a copy for the local guys right? (Just making sure sorry for the rookie questions I just don't wanna mess up) thanks Michael

 

They open at like 7am or so. If your close and by close I mean within 10k miles of a B-Svc your oil filter is plugged up and a new one needs spun on,common with us running 25k svc intervals, and all the dusty places we go. Make sure you send Macro 10 when you drop the trailer, but everything else is right. Also suggestion never try to stop in Nitro at that pilot its a cluster, try to get to Hurricane to the T/A or if you run US35 there is a truck stop about 50 miles ish from the WV/Ohio line big lot and cat scale in Jackson Ohio, there is also a porn shop in WV on US 35 that will let you park overnight if you buy something or ask nicely. If you haven't gotten on a Pocket Truck stop guide or the larger ones are nice to have.

 

Do not ever stop at a porn shop. If a Millis driver sees you and reports you to Mike Millis you might be packing your bags. I would try that t/a before Nitro. I hate that place. and playa why on earth did you use all that to strap a simple beer load? If ya want i can show you how to strap stuff if you are ever in trenton when i am. Just look for my truck 2109. It also has a Boba Fett helmet in the passenger door window. Also did you buy extra straps? most new guys only have the 2 that they give you. I have a total of 5 now. Picked up a couple in random trailers. If you bought some make sure you hold on to the receipt.

 

Im not suggesting anyone stops at the porn shops, just offering up that if you are low on hrs or limited truck parking they will let u park there. As will Jacks fast food joint in alabama most have truck parking that i have seen.
