weigh station iphone app

Why not make a device that triggers a green light every time for prepass? Scale for some reason will only give me a green! Naaaa life is already getting complicated enough in a truck to worry about one more thing. Besides you should already know where they are and I've never even met a guy who would ever go around them! I mean that's dishonest right! Man what has this world come to when I guy doesn't want to stop every 150 miles and be inspected....are we all becoming criminals?

Just sad bears and scaleMASTER just trying go get some money so he can help add the funding needed to fix our roads, get us all on eobrs, build new parks and walk ways, get his cousin Bubba hired on, ungrade his coffee pot and everything else he needs. What are you guys trying to do to these poor guys? If they don't write a certain number of us up he might not get his bonus?

I'm ashamed, y'all are doing this. You should like letting these guys help you make sure you cheched everything! I'm glad to see them there after I've been driving for an hour or two I really need to get out and go over everything I just checked. Besides they ALWAYS WANT TO HELP! If I've ever had anything wrong they make sure and write it down for me sometimes in more than one way.......who doesn't benefit from this!

 

Anyone with any sense would have their phone mounted on the dash in front of them as to where the phone can be observed without much if any personal involvement... like a GPS.

I can send a text, answer the phone, make calls, whatever totally hands free with my iPhone using my blue parrot headset.

As far as being distracted... I would be willing to bet that its less distracting then checking out some good looking sweetie wearing a short skirt on a warm summer day... know what I mean Vern ?

BTW, I like the idea of this app, but I don't think your going to find too many buyers at $4.99

Hopefully David you knew I was joking. Yes, by all means make the app. I soend more than five bucks a week in coffee. You can add me to the list......as long as its android too.

 

Come up with something useful that at least some people want and maybe make a few $$$ off it as well...what are you, some kind of capatalist?

I'll buy it and try to participate. Make it simple to use, right? Don't see a big problem if you aren't writing volumes while you're on the road.

Congrats on making apps. You do know that many truckers have a prepass that beeps and lights up green or red when coming near the scales? I just can't see a trucker rolling through the scales at 3 mph, updating the application while the LEO is looking at them for safety violations, and then shifting through about 10 gears to get up to freeway speed! But anyway, good luck with the application, I have written a very elaborate application (tourmaker) on android that no one understands or even downloads, so app writing is really a tough way to make money, but it can be fun, so I wish you the best.

 

good ol cb here hasnt failed me yet only time it comes close is when i deal with inconsiderate steering wheel holders that leave there radio's off or just plain out dont have one, thats what irritates me the most just short of 4wheelers. i mean cmon yeah theres some idiots out there that like to talk trash on the radio just turn it down enough so its not so much of a nuisense. if the language offends you then u probally arent cut out for this industry go back to ur desk job...ok rant over
