unloaded at 0700 this morning (plan had 0500, come on planners!) at AGCO in Hesston, KS. Get a load assignment to pick up in Beloit, KS. Get half way there and get a message, pull over! Permits not available today since its Veteran's day. So, now I sit waiting for something to get me moving.

I'm surprised they realized that BEFORE you loaded it. :)

You think they would have realized that before even giving me the load! Probably have to sit here all day to get a load to pick up... tomorrow. think it might be in Beloit to. :biggrin_25511:

They're not paid to think, if they were there would be a bonus for that.

Kraft in Winchester VA getting loaded heading to Maine. 2 other loads are ready so a chance to grab one of those instead but mostly likely rock this one.

So for the experience driver training with reefer, I go to Gary. I read something about Gary having "bunk rooms?" What does that mean? There's rooms to stay in over night there?

Yup there rooms were drivers who's trucks in the shop or what may have you so they don't have to pay for a hotel but if there are no bunk room available they get u a room an the hotel.
