good post, however I don't shun the GPS. I get my address, then request directions, Plug it into the GPS, Check the map, then get a satellite image view of where I'm going on my phone from the google maps app. Then I spend 10 minuets trying to re-route the #### GPS to go the preferable way until I eventually give up, write down the directions on my dashboard notepad, let the GPS recalculate itself how ever often as it needs. But I find it to be a very good 300 dollr truck stop finder...... and its pretty good at ETA's.
