Matthews, MO...at the Flying J. Only drove 390 miles today and only gonna drive about 440 tomorrow, that's what happens when you take a load with only 5 1/2 hours on your 70 and have to wait for hours to drop off. I actually kind of like it, nice relaxed pace. Load delivers Wed the 14th in North Platte, NE, already have my PTA set for Thursday @ 6:00 am....because of lack of hours.

I recently averaged 58 MPH from Phoenix to Santa Nella, CA. 640 miles, not bad considering 510 of those miles were in CA.

Ran from Sept 5 to Nov 1 without a reset and averaged 3000 mile a week ... still home, new truck needs some TLC.

Most times I like to run like that, every now and then I deliver a load on a Friday late afternoon... In an area with crappy weekend planners...

That's what I prefer to do most of the time. Lately I seem to be taking a 34 about every 10 days, doesn't help when they give me an 1800 mile load and less than 72 hours from pickup to delivery. I took my current 1140 mile load BEFOREI looked at my remaining hours. Lucky (for me) I'm very good at managing my time and had just enough hours falling off to make the run on time.
