I stop here from time to time and it is the best one I have been to as far as driver services. Free wifi is a big plus for me. They also do a good job as some I've been to really do a poor job washing. I haul food so it's important to me to have clean uncontaminated trailers. The area this place in is laughable though, the two times I've been waved at by hookers were both within a half mile of this place. The most recent still had her 40oz and smoke in her hands.
Kankakee, ia is nice and open from what. Remember.
Cronbaugh in cedar rapids, ia is a decent facility with showers and wifi. They do a bad job drying pneumatics ime.
Northstar in Fargo, nd is cheap and clean but the kids there are well. . .kids and routinely do not wash my hoses and I forget to say anything as everyone usually defaults to washing them.
Indiana tank cleaners in Gary, IN is ok/poor they do a bad job drying and the people I have talked to there have been pricks. It's probably standard for the area though.
I stopped at a blue beacon outside of Cleveland, OH once and I had some leftover barley malt left in y trailer in one of the hoppers. The guy didn't look in the tank before he started spraying water and did a good job of wetting it all down thoroughly. Then he told me "you have product left you will have to go get rid of it." since the truck stop backed up to the woods and I was hauling a grain product I asked if I could just blow it into the woods? He said no the truck stop . bla bla bla which is understandable. So I went off in search if an abandoned lot/field to spray the ~100 lbs of barley into. I found one and ended up getting stuck in the mud(it had rained that morning but the topsoil had dried). I ended up blowing the product out at another truck stop up the road into a swamp. Which was a blast as the first product tht came out was pretty much beer wort water. The next thing was just a few of the pieces of malt as they had caked to the inside if the trailer with the water he sprayed on it. So an hour of pounding on the trailer combined with 4 or 5 blowdowns so I could open the hatch and check if anything was in there I got it all out.
When I brought the truck back, 4 hours later, literally caked with mud, I told the guy the story if how I got stuck and whatnot as he was cleaning the trailer out he goes "sorry dude usually let people do it but my boss was here." nothing like a little salt in the wounds. .

I hated OJ's, just dreaded going in there what dump and a cluster...I used one off the Emlenton exit in PA on 80 I think it was the place was out in the woods, might have been a Superior owned facility can't remember ?? Anyway they did a good job..
East St Louis was in a bad 'hood as noted, wouldn't want to sleep on that street going in thats for sure !! -
PSC in Carropollis Pa is pretty good, wifi, clean showers, sometimes they have hot food.
The PSC in west Memphis is not to bad either, been about a year since I was there. -
Your thinking of the old PSC tank wash in Parker, PA. Superior Carriers has a tank wash at their terminal about another 10 miles south in Karns City, PA.

The tank wash near kakakee, Il. is clean and the crew do a very good job. Clean the hoses, valves, replace the seals when needed. All without having to be asked or watched over. Like it should be. Driver's amenities are nice too. The Calumet tank wash near Chicago is a little rough around the edges but they do good work also.
