Spent twenty plus years in new home construction. Mostly drywall and painting, some remodeling etc.. Finally got something that gives me some independance while someone else pays the bills. Knew I should have done this years ago!:biggrin_25520:

Professional Swimming Coach. I worked for a USA Swimming Club/YMCA team for 23 years working with high school and college level athletes. Got tired of the politics of dealing with parents and decided to try trucking. I was successful at coaching and could go back if I want. I have had HS age athletes at Olympic trials every year since 1992. So far trucking is great.

When I was 18 I joined the army they trained me as an operating room technician.I spent the next 32 years passing instrument on everything from craniotomy(brain surgery) to podiatry (foot surgery) I saw everything in between and most of it ain't pretty. I took crap from surgeon who where hacks and I worked for guys who where excellent.I hated 80 percent of it and I always wanted to be a Driver from the time I was a little boy.Notice I said Driver and not Trucker because I believe there is a big difference. On my best paycheck in Arizona I was making 22.50 and hour that took me thirty years to do on my worst here in Arkansas 14.50 an hour after the same number of years.I find driving way more rewarding both financially and emotionally :iroc:
