So what happened with Wil Trans...I've been trying to follow you over the forum and I seem to see that you went with Arnold? I am just asking because my partner and I may be going to orientation with them next week or the week after and I have had trouble finding much out. The biggest issue is that I have 2 English (couch potato) Bulldogs so it limits our options considerably...a lot of companies allow pets but usually only one.

That is a very good point. Worth saying again! THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST JOB IN TRUCKING: DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ!!! This is the best place for stupid people to be heard. Look for TRENDS (ie: CR England) and look for the positive, not the negative.anj8488 Thanks this.

Whatever people may think,i told the truth.Owner of will tran exact words was "you didnt make any money this week clean your truck out you dont work here any longer".Now im with crete, pays at .43 cents a mile. Not a bad company. My website someone mentioned is my hobby, truetrucking(dot)tk. I first built the site to go after pilot to clean up the showers, etc. And got very little support from you drivers. I stay out on the road more than most people,60 to 90 days at a time. You guys believe what you want ,but will tran is a bunch of crooks.Do your research,im not the only one to say that.Be safe drivers. p.s. If what i say is a lie then how come the owner of will tran dont sue me for slander.

Because this isn't against the law...

libel is written and slander is spoken, so no fear on a slander lawsuit.

Well, I have a funny Wil-Trans story.
I was researching trucking companies, in-depth. Wanted 1) dog friendly, 2) runs from Mid-west where I live to 3) Southern Calif. Wil-Trans was on my list after the recruiter claimed I could bring ALL my dogs (3 of them) and that they were SO dog-friendly, the owner had thoughts to bring in a veterinarian... yada yada.
I put my 3 dogs in my car (not because of Wil-Trans) and started tooting around the country visiting trucking companies. What a hoot.
So there was Wil-Trans, renting space from John Christiansen. Ha-ha. A guy went by as I was talking to the embarrassed recruiter (well, maybe not embarrassed... inconvenienced) with a 'company policies' hand out for their orientation. I asked if I could look that over as long as I was there. The answer was, "No!" Ha-ha. Veterinarian. Right!!
Oh, and O&S, so dog-friendly I was told they had an in-house kennel. Ha-ha. Every door had a 'no dogs allowed' sign. The 'kennel' was a small dog kennel like from Lowes with an igloo dog house and grass over a foot tall that you had to walk through past a dead RV, also out back. Hadn't had a dog in it for a long, long time. -
Wil-Trans pulls only Prime Reefer units. 0.38 per mile A-seat solo pay rate. Lease program follows Prime exactly. They do not lease used Prime trucks. 2 weeks ago, roommate here at the Prime Hotel (Campus Inn) signed new lease on 2014 Peterbilt 587. No limit on speed in lease program. Company driver is limited by governor to 62MPH, but they want you to run 55 "to save fuel". They share a lot with Christiansen, Ruan, and their school Route 66 CDL. No Prime equipment is on the lot. All trucks have APU's. From talking to the drivers they all seem pretty happy with Wil-Trans. The only thing they seem to ##### about is the 55MPH limit on speed. You are in trouble if you don't adhere to it.

3 dogs in a truck ? thats just nasty nasty nasty..borderline animal abuse...come on man leave the dogs at home...FLATBED and truckinmike1984 Thank this.

3 dogs in a truck is nasty! I have 3 dogs at home. Tell me this how in the hell are you going to take care of them? No way that you are going to have time to stop and walk them when they need to be walked. Bet there is nothing like driving down a 2 lane with no shoulder and one of them takes a nice big dump in front of the bed. What are you going to do then? Pull over in the middle of the road and clean it up. Nope, well only if you don't give a *%@$ about other motorist and your own safety. Now one dog I can see how you could get just one in a routine of feeding and pooping but three there is no way in hell. Open a dog walking business if you wanna ^!% with 3 dogs all day long. It is hard enough to maintain cleanliness in a rig.
truckinmike1984 and FLATBED Thank this. -
That is crazy. I've never heard of anyone wanting to tote around 3 dogs in a truck. ONE has to be miserable enough.Lonesome, FLATBED and truckinmike1984 Thank this.
