When's the next load pickup? I was in a similar situation last weekend and had to sit four days till my load was ready. At least the pay made up for the wait!!
Where is everyone?

Sitting in Case Grande, AZ. Something don't pop up by noon tomorrow I am going to put it in the wind and head for home.

Hubby was just past there today, and bummed because he couldn't stop for chow there. Guess they have pretty decent food.

Will call is the same as customer pickup. DRP hauls for lots of dealers in MI, IN, OH & KY. They also haul a lot of used equipment. If I am not mistaken, the owner/family may also own an auction site or used equipment dealership. The only issue I have with them is they are delivering the same tractors that I would like to be delivering.

Thats what I thought and yes they do have a auction house Pefleys......you and me both......but if the will call carrier doesn't make the pick up in a timely manner then carriers like you get to "spot bid" correct? If I'm asking too much don't answer.......They like to run empty as well

The way Deere works, the dealer (or the trucker they hire) gets 10 days to pick up the unit. If they don't pick it up in 10 days, it gets "rolled" from will call (them) to commercial carrier (me). Spot bidding is only used for moves outside of normal contract rates or shipments over 48k lbs.
We actually had one of their contractors come to work for us. I believe he was from Lafontaine, IN. He was an interesting character, but he ended up marrying a doctor and selling his truck. He has some interesting things to say about them. -
sorry, i thought you said you polished. lol
seriously though that tank is way beyond hand polishing. it needs to be sanded down and cut with a buffer. save your muscles
good job with what you have to work with but that truck doesnt look like its ever been polished. you sure.those tanks arent machine finished?
