Medical Certificate

    I just got a new medical certificate yesterday and realized they misspelled my last name by omitting a letter. I'm guessing I need to go back to the physician and get that corrected else face some issues in the future?

    Wouldn't hurt you have to send it in to dds anyways might as well avoid any future problem's.

    It'll totally screw you when DOT asks for your paperwork. If your license doesn't match the name on the med cert, they'll assume it's fraudulent... and you'll be put out of service.

    Ya, I would get that fixed. The doctor put two different dates on mine and I caught hell for it! Had to get it fixed.

    Same exact thing they did on mine.....The NC DOT man gave me a hard time.
    I had my long form with me and that saved me from being put Out of Service 20 minutes from my house.

    Get it fixed....it will save you the trouble when you get checked!
