I've been reading up about Roehl and have some questions that maybe y'all can help me out. I'm looking to go Van or Reefer. Does Roehl run the northeast? Do I need my permit before I apply? Where are the schools located? Do they pay for your lodging or meals? I'd really appreciate all the help I can get.

Lets see i dont know about there school if you need a permit first. Call a recruiter for that one. Yes we run the northeast alot. I would say miles are in the van division i have herd refer can be light also you play the grocery warehouse games. Yes they pay for hotel and you get a meal voucher for dinner and continental b-fast. Lunch is a toss up. I dont know for the CDL school though. Decent company people are nice they work with you they seem to be fair so far.
DaytonaDoug Thanks this. -

Yes you will need your DOT physical and permit before the school. Flatbed and dry van is where your miles are I have heard. Actually the hotel cost 400$ which you will pay upfront. You also have to pay for your transportation and food. Least that is what my recruiter has told me. As far as the school question, to my knowledge, their only school is in Wisconsin. That is where I am having to go. Now they do have terminals spread out. My terminal will be Ellenwood Georgia, but I am in Mississippi. -
Sounding good so far. What kind of trucks does Roehl operate? Can you bring the truck home? What's home time policy?

Me thinks you might want to call your recruiter and verify!! -
If your going to the school you have to pay for the hotel for three weeks at $400, if you have your license and are going to orientation the hotel is paid by Roehl.

Roehl seems to be one of the best out there. Looking good so far
