Mega Gulf Coast Lines, Grand Prairie,Tx...recently changed their names to Gulf Coast..I have been forced to beg and humble myself for weeks now in order to receive my last 2 paychecks..they do not want to pay the drivers whom they let go. We are given hot checks and when we take them back to office they reissue with another hot check. No bank nor check cashing business will cash checks issued by Carl McClendon, Brent McClendon nor Christy Carr who are the owners of Company. I am now struggling to receive my last paycheck so I can move on and have no contact with Mega. This Company is (was) well aware of the checks they hand each driver are "hot". It has been a tribulation to many of us drivers to keep our financial obligations meet. I would not recommend Gulf Coast to anyone unless they like to work for free.

Contact your local labor board. They are there to assist you in these manners.

If they're knowingly issuing hot checks...contact the DA's office about it!...writing hot checks is a crime.

Thx for info...another driver and I had that thought also! some family members wrote the co. a letter pretty much pleading with owners to take care of their obligations...some of the drivers had been there 11 + years...I myself do not have major financial obligations, but I watched several family men buckle under the stress of humbling themselves...we are all just trying to get on with new positions...Stay Safe God Speed
