I had another load, I booked this morning. Carlos just told me he doesn't have the other pieces. So, no load, right? "Call me on Monday morning and we'll see." I said, "That means we do not have a load, right?"

We don't have paperwork and we don't have a load. We also don't have money from my husband sitting for two days, to deliver. Someone's about to get #####ed out. I'm getting sick of this ####!

Yeah, that would be great if we still had our own authority. What world do you function? You're on the wrong board.

100 percent is unrealistic..10 maybe...I was saying the penalty they should pay you for taking a load out from under you should be at or more than 100 percent then the clowns wouldnt do stuff like that

That mentality and attitude won't get you far in life. Just sayin'...

It does, but what you have to remember is every agency at Landstar is independent of one another. We're not corporate controlled, nor are we all "in this together." We're not all bad. When you get hosed like that, remember their agency code and add them to your "no haul list."

This is my primary guess and two out of the three letters of this agent's code come to mind... I think you and I may be on the same page.

Brilliant! Just what I was gonna say.

I take it you're not sending out a Christmas card to any brokers/agents this season.

You're exactly right, you can... and it'll keep your career dissipation light flashing in overdrive in the corner of your eye (5 points to whoever gets that movie reference). I deal with jaded people like you day in and day out and you never cease to amaze me. I don't prey on anyone and come with a very good reputation of taking care of drivers both BCO and Broker with rates and follow through. It's part of the reason we're so successful and why drivers call us back everytime they see a load we have posted because we know them by first name and treat them like a person and not a number. And no, actually I don't just sit at a desk and book loads. I jetset all over the United States to meet shippers and clients both current and potential showing them respect and acting with a professional demeaner and you know what... the strangest thing happens... we get more of their business. It's amazing what happens when you dress professionally and act professionally with professional people.

It sounds as though I'm sure not getting one. It's okay though. I sent him a nice block of cheese to go with the whine...
