It was but when I pick up the truck they handed me a bill for $8,063 ...said turbo's cost more than they thought!! Tow bill was part of cost along with a lot added BS stuff.. I made it down the road 14 miles before the engine light came on which cost me another night because they closed at 5.pm so I sat until the next morning. Problem, crankcase filter clogged up. Truck is down on power every since the new turbo's were replaced along with the fuel MPG.. Im going to be taking it to cat here in my home town to see if the ECM should be set-up for the new turbo's.?
    It's alway's something. I went from 7.2 mpg down to 5.3 mpg.

Yup cat turbos are pricey. Specially if you have 2 of them.

They likely added %15 to your tow bill.Just like how a dealership will mark up the prices on parts they have to get elsewhere, they mark up your tow bill for handling it. I always pay my tow bill separately, and paying cash will often get you a discount.

I would have told them tuff crap on the turbo's being more expensive "than they thought". Its their job to do their research before giving a customer a quote. You will hardly EVER get a deal on the road. They always seem to put the screws to ya because you are at their mercy. I just had the trans replaced on my 07 Pete on the road and they were $1950 more than they quoted me and I said thats not what you quoted me, you have a 10% variance on what you quote. Their excuse was the cost was higher on some stuff. I told them tuff ###### and they said "well we are not giving you your key back till you pay it". I quickly pulled another key out of my pocked and said "perhaps you would like to see me back this truck out with you holding 'your' key to my truck" they adjusted the bill accordingly and I payed it and low and behold it was only 10% more than originally quoted price of $6300. Weird how that worked out

Broke down again yesterday in INDY.. Had to unload friday and just before getting to the house i was to unload at the DPF light started flashing and the engine light came on.. I made it to unload and around 6 pm i made it to cat in INDY with the shut down light on.. They got me back on the road at 5 am this morning which Im back home now.. They had to replace the ARD head which was covered by cat. Cost me nothing this time..Got lucky because I'm sure to replace the ARD WAS NOT CHEAP!! Got lucky twice really because at 1st they said it would be tuesday before they could get me in but lucky me a 7 pm didn't show up..
