Flexeril never affected me like that. Makes me sleepy, but never had a problem in the morning. Oxycodone doesn't even make me tired.

What the heck are you talking about. Can't drive on painkillers? So you've never taken an asprin in the truck? And muscle relaxers should wear off before you drive or you need a different prescription.
-
Was the the O/P about OTC's? Oh.my Bad must have Skipped that Part.
Get caught with any Drug that Effects your Ability to Drive a Commercial Vehicle, weather Prescribed or not and you are Done. Bye,bye CDL.
And i would believe Muscle relaxers would fall under that Category.tommy36years Thanks this. -
Wrong! Had pills after my hospital stay, approved by doc, approved by work, and by DOT. So you may want to do research before you comment.
-
Also, having them in your truck? really. No court would hold that up if they weren't in your system. Muscle relaxers are prescribed all the time, you sleep them off, the will show up on a drug test which is part of the reason they give one during an accident investigation. My wife rides with me and has pills I couldn't take, so that is BS about taking a CDL away if it's in the truck at all.
-
I don't know, My friend just caught with Norco's they suspended his license, My best friend is a State Trooper you cant even have them in your truck no DOT will allow that, I was in Flint Michigan last year a truck moved over to the pass lane and clipped a car they drug tested him on the spot had Opiates in urine and was arrested for having a class1 Narcotic
LodiKen Thanks this. -
Not surprised, it was in his system. You have to be so careful. In Minnesota they were shutting you down if you had a caffenated drink! Rediculous. -
If that were the case, no one could ever have a rider who took prescriptions.
-
Its also in DOT regs you can not have any opiates with your person at all, No doctor in hell would let a driver have Narcotics in his commercial vehicle, They would lose their license, The only pills you are allowed if your a type 2 diabetic hell you cant even have allergy pills in a vehicle, When i had a dot inspection in Wisconsin last year that was their first question do i have any narcotics or weapons and may i check your vehicle, Hell they even had K-NINE, I had a knee replacement last February and the Doctor cleared me to go work and he told me himself i cant percribe any Narcotics if you going back to trucking
-
Prescriptions and narcotics are 2 different categories If you get caught especially with Oxycontin your going to arrested I just called my friend who is a Michigan State Trooper on his 34th years and he also was a DOT cop,,Morphine,Vicodin Diladid, Nor-co, even Tylenol 3 with codeine Oxycodon is actually synthetic Her ion No way in hell they could clear you on that or your Doctor a fricken idiot, Im not calling you a lair im just saying what my friend said I will believe him 100%
