I just got a Galaxy v98hp from them. It was right at a month from when I ordered it till I got it. I was getting a little concerned because I couldn't get a hold of them by phone or e-mail. Shannon finally called me and said she had sent several e-mails to update me on my radio and they kept coming back to her. With that said I DID get my radio and it works VERY well, just took a little longer than advertised.

I buy allot of stuff from Clay's, mainly because they are less than a 100 miles of me, so I can make a weekend trip right to their front door...Never been disappointed...
Another good shop is CB City in Tyler TX.... Sometimes I will make a weekend drive over there, since it also is about the same distance away from me...Only problem with going into CB City, is you can "PLAN-ON" just going in there for a $60 Mic, but by the time you leave, not only did you get your New Mic, but usually it's attached to a New $300+ radio!
CB City is like no other CB Radio store in the Country...Every Make, Model, and price range of radios all under one roof...And the antenna section of the store, is like a store in it's self...Logan76 Thanks this. -
I bought a 10 meter Galaxy from him about 4 months ago. I live right outside Weatherford. Finals went out due to cut in coax. Galaxy are supposed to be returned to service center for 3 yr warranty. He went ahead and replaced them. Cost me about $12 for the parts. He is good guy. Having trouble finding anyone wanting to learn trade. Kids offered $15+ an hour to apprentice. None last. Prices are not the cheapest but he knows his stuff. Has a couple of ladies filling orders as he does tuneups and other mods. Has a big motorcycle radio clientele as well. Was in there while back. His wife has hybrid car like Prius or one of them. They wanted $3k or more for new batteries. He built his own for under $400 I think. Told him he was in wrong business. Said he was looking at getting into that if he could. Sharp guy. His old guys out West of Weatherford are very good as well. Ranger Hill CB Shop. (254) 647-5223
