O/o in atlanta

    I am owner opt in Atlanta area. I currently do not have my own trailer and I am looking for some good work. I do not want to haul cheap freight and would like to stay local most of the time. I am currently on the Power Only program with JB Hunt and just need to have access to more load boards or just lease on to a good paying company.

    I don't know how well it will work for you to be able to stay local and earn a decent living. There are several carriers who now offer power only for those with their own authority. PTL is one. You may check with Schneider, Landstar, US Xpress, Covenant and some of the other larger carriers. They have a good freight base and might have need of some to do local runs. Some may also need drivers to move trailers around the area. I think you will find it difficult to get good rates and stay local all the time.

    Tons of guys here run with evans. Hauling containers. Home everynight. Dont know how much they make, but trucks look ok.

    I used to drive for cdn logistics the city drivers got paid well.I think they have a atlanta yard
