that's just a way of describing my operating area. circle one is where i generally spend about half my time, circle 2 is the next quarter, the third is most all the rest, and the last is justr a little bit.
i was sent to every state in the 48 plus all of eastern canada in my first two years with the company. -
I hate roundabouts to this day. Yeah they do help traffic flow but no one in this country knows how to use them properly. How hard is it to understand the vehicle in the round about has the right away.
But back on topic i have seen both coasts since i started. This last week i have been stuck in the midwest. -
i grew up with roundabouts, but the traffic went round them the other way.
i've had students who see them and freeze up. i have to coach them all the way around. -
What is a roundabout??

Also known in Canada as a roundaboot.
Big Chief Thanks this. -
A rotary. Very common in Australia they use them instead of stop signs.
-
I should clarify, they are typically smaller than a rotary you are used to but same idea.
-
the ones in america are always too small.
they compensate by making the traffic circles with a big smooth sidewalk and sloped curbs.
i compensate by driving mostly straight across. -
I live in Delaware and its usually pick up in Philly, Baltimore, or DC metro area and off to Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, and the such. I am national, but the areas near and dear to Wisconsin will be where you spend your time. I have fellow Roehl drivers from anywhere from Phoenix, north Carolina etc... And you can always find them at either the Gary or Marshfield terminals!
